Having had a bunch of injuries with football and chasing kids, my motivation is to stay in one piece! Love staying fit and preventing injury all in one. Keeping up with the kids and a pain free life is the goal.
What do you take from CrossFit into life?
Making it in once a day, be it morning, midday or in the evening, keeps a structure to the week that sets you up for success! Routine keeps everything productive and making time for the gym makes it possible.
Most outstanding sporting achievement?
Winner of the (the prestigious) 1987 Whitianga tennis tournament. Skiied in France with the British Mogul team - a potential reason for the dodgy knees.
What excitement have you line up in the future?
Tough Mudder with the work crew in November. Hoping for a better outcome than the 'Madness' challenge I attempted hungover and had to be medevaced out at the 9km mark. Nothing a hair-of-the-dog didn't fix.
